NATIONAL OCEANOGRAPHIC AND ATMOSPHERIC ADMINISTRATION - NOAA

I am a Social Scientist at the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Fisheries Northeast Fisheries Science Center. My current focus is on the interaction of fisheries and North Atlantic right whales, and how the fisheries, governing bodies, and scientists can work together to maintain fisheries while minimizing their impact on right whales. My background is in the social science of management and conservation, and my position within the main U.S. governing body will allow me to ensure that this project impacts change within the U.S. and supports our work on strengthening collaboration and communication between other relevant groups and the NOAA.
