HAKAI INSTITUTE

I am a molecular ecologist working as a Scientist at the Hakai Institute on Quadra Island, BC. Broadly, my research focuses on ecological, environmental, and ancient genomics. My interest is in applying genomics tools, in combination with traditional ecological approaches and community knowledge, to answer questions related to biodiversity and wildlife conservation.

I am excited to be providing analytical support as a collaborator on the Genome Canada Large-Scale Applied Research Project aimed at understanding genomic factors that are impacting the recovery of the endangered North Atlantic Right Whale.
