I am a Curator of Zoology with the Nova Scotia Museum. The primary focus of my research is in the application of genetic techniques to address questions of population history and conservation in marine mammals, particularly the North Atlantic right whale.

I provide support to the Genome Canada research project in a variety of ways, including research process expertise and management and organization of the tissue and DNA collection and database.
